I am one of the New Teaching Fellows, a Principal Lecturer from the London Sport Institute, School of Health and Education and also the Director of Programmes for Sport and the Programme Leader for BSc Sport and Exercise Science.As the director of programmes for Sport and Exercise Science at Middlesex university, I am therefore in charge of ensuring our high teaching standards are maintained. I am a Principal Lecturer and the programme leader for the Sport and Exercise Science programmes and teach on various modules across all years on the SES programme. I teach on all the Sport and Exercise courses at Middlesex university, focusing on Biomechanics, education and research methods.

Research Outputs & Interests
I have a keen interest on the integration of e-learning into programmes to enhance the student experience and help increase engagement in the subject area and linked achievement of the students. I encourage the use of elearning in the team in a manner which does not replace face-to-face learning sessions, but rather supports them. I am currently researching the use of iPads in learning sessions and trying to measure the effectiveness of these as an elearning tool, as part of my Doctoral research.
My current research interests are:
Educational and cultural developments in Sport and Exercise Science
The use of performance analysis in fitness, player and tactics assessment in team sports, particulary football.
The effects of a variety of non clinical interventions to the treatment of lower back pain.
The use of e-learning tools in assessment and feedback on a contemporary SES programme.
