Dr. Duquenoy is a Principal Lecturer and researcher at Middlesex University, London, publishing internationally on the ethical implications of ICT. Recent projects co-funded by UK research councils and the EU investigate how to consider ethical and social impacts of ICT during the project design and development stage. She is an expert evaluator for the EU, Norwegian Research Council, The Netherlands Organisation for Health Research and Development, and EPSRC. A long-standing member of IFIP (International Association of Information Professionals) she was chair of Working Group 9.2 on computers and social accountability(6 years) and is currently chair of IFIP Special Interest Group 9.2.2 Framework for Ethics, and in the UK is Chair of BCS, the Chartered Institute for IT, ICT Ethics Specialist Group.
