Leoni graduated from Middlesex University in 2012 with a BA Honours Degree in Graphic Design, and then in 2013 completed the MSc Psychology (Conversion). Leoni’s research conducted at Master's level focused on student attitudes towards help seeking and counselling, with a mixed methodological approach. Leoni since worked and volunteered for a range of mental health and healthcare services in London.
Leoni is currently employed in the Psychology department as a Graduate Academic Assistant and she has assisted with inclusive events such as Mental Health Awareness Week, she has also taught and assisted on two of our summer school programs. Leoni is also a research assistant for the Centre for Abuse and Trauma Studies, within the Psychology Research Groups based at Middlesex University.
Leoni’s research interests include impact of therapeutic interventions, including complementary therapies, and her field of interest is Clinical Psychology. Additionally, she is a graduate member of the British Psychological Society, and a member of the Division of Clinical Psychology, Pre-Qualification group.
