Mariana is Associate Professor and Deputy Head of the Department of Management, Leadership and Organisations. With more than 15 years experience in UK academia, Mariana has solid knowledge and understanding of the different facets of Higher Education. Most recently, she was Head of Subject, Strategic Management, at the Hertfordshire Business School. In the past, she has taken a variety of academic roles, e.g. assisting the development of international partnerships and overseeing the academic provision of overseas partners as an International Collaborations Support Tutor; overseeing all matters relating to PhD students – from application to completion – as well as contributing to the development of the institutional research strategy and environment as a Faculty Research Tutor.
