Louise joined Middlesex University as a Visting Lecturer in 2009 teaching undergraduate Humphrey-based technique, choreography and performance. She was appointed within the faculty as a full-time Lecturer in Dance Technique in 2013 and continues to lecture on the BA Dance Performance and BA Dance Studies Programmes.
Louise holds a First Class BA Honours in Dance Performance and Masters in Choreography. She trained under the direction of Lesley Main and Kate Rogan to become a Humphrey-based teacher, and furthered her training with Gail Corbin and Deborah Carr in Chicago, USA 2011. Louise co-founded and is the current Artistic Director of Shaded Voice Dance Company [www.shadedvoicedance.co.uk] which is part of the Associate Artist Scheme at Middlesex University.
Louise holds Professional Membership with Foundation for Community Dance, and is a member of Dance UK, CORD and Society of Dance History Scholars.
