Dr. Tingting (Elle) Li joined Middlesex University London in 2017 as a Lecturer in Tourism. Elle holds a PhD in Tourism Management from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, and MPhil and MA in Tourism Geography from the University of Hong Kong. Her current research interests center on the sociological and geographical perspectives of tourism, dedicated to exploring interrelated research avenues of diaspora tourism, mobility, sense of place, subjective well-being, etc. Her research has been published in several top-tier journals, including Tourism Management, Annals of Tourism Research, and Tourism Geographies.
