Dr. Jatin Sureshchandra Pancholi (JP) leads and teaches Accounting & Finance modules for masters and under-graduate programmes including M.B.A. Apart from teaching, he is engaged in research and publication activities.
He possesses wide range of experience in the area of steel, real estate, banking, insurance, Information Technology, TV serial production and management consulting and training in various countries. He has travelled for his professional assignments and pleasure trips within the countries including the USA, China, India, the UAE, Germany, France, Switzerland, the Netherlands, Italy and Croatia.
Dr. Pancholi has to his credit, articles and research papers, published and presented at national and international conferences and seminars. He has successfully completed an international research project of European Union-India Cross Cultural Innovation Network. He was invited as the Guest Editor of an internationally refereed journal published by Springer Publication. His one of the papers is also published in the Journal of American Academy of Business, USA, for which, he was awarded 'Best Paper Award'. The Association of Indian Management Scholars (AIMS) USA has awarded him ‘AIMS Distinguished Services Award’ to recognize his contribution to the AIMS International.
The largest funding body of the UK: the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC), has recently awarded him a research grant for his work. He has been a part of several other research project grants. He has provided his editorial and reviewer services to the international refereed journals including the Journal of Teaching in International Business, New York, USA; European Journal of Economics, Finance and Administrative Sciences, Europe; Vikalpa, the Journal for Decision Makers published by the Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad (IIMA), India; Case Research Journal, North American Case Research Association, USA; and Journal of Behavioral and Applied Management, Institute of Behavioral and Applied Management, USA. He remained co-editor of AIMSiNews which is the newsletter of the Association of Indian Management Scholars International, USA.
Dr. Pancholi is regularly invited as a Key Note Speaker, Expert Speaker, Chairperson and Discussant in various international conferences, symposiums and seminars across the world. He has provided management consulting and corporate training services in the area of cost management, measuring business performance, Balanced Scorecard, Activity Based Costing Management, Financial Management, Leadership and Strategic Management. He continues working with industry and corporate leaders and helping them in these areas. In Management Development Programme and corporate training, he has trained for around 20,000 hours to more than 5,000 corporate professionals of middle and top management from 100 plus companies, government departments, social services organizations and institutions. He has also gained experience of indirect teaching through alternate modes of internet and VSAT.
By training, he is a first class commerce graduate, MBA Gold Medallist with Finance specialization and a PhD in Finance. He holds an International Certification as an Internal Auditor and Diploma in Total Quality Management & ISO 9000. He has completed his P.G.Cert.H.E. successfully. He has been awarded a prize as the first ranker in his first year LLB.
He has been awarded 'Best Young Teacher Award' at the International Business Summit. This award was on the basis of his contribution to corporate sector, practical teaching style, innovativeness, feedback, research and mentoring
Besides being an avid reader, he is attracted towards astronomy, photography, blogging, travelling, optical illusions, piano, poetry and learning magic tricks.
