Sarah Patel joined Middlesex University in 2014 as a senior lecturer in Primary Education. She has completed a Master's Degree in Education and has coauthorued the book, 'The Really Useful D&T book'. As a lecturer for computing and a former IT leader in the primary sector she has maintained and developed her commitment to the use of information and communications technology in education.
Learning & Teaching Interests
Sarah is keen to work with teachers to develop their use of technology within their practice so that it reflects the computer culture in our society today. She is interested in sharing pedagogies which promote integrating computing throughout the curriculum as well as developing engaging ways to teach computer science.
Research Outputs & Interests
Sarah is currently studying for her PhD which will focus on the pedagogies used to teach computer programming at primary level.
