Prior to joining in Middlesex University London, Rui Su studied and worked at Sheffield Hallam, where her PhD research has focused on conceptualizing cultural tourism in city destinations. As an associate lecturer, she was mainly teaching modules from hospitality, tourism, and events areas, as well as supervising UG and PG projects and dissertations. Apart from working in the university, she has involved in several research projects, such as Church Action on Poverty, Poverty Reduction and Inter-sectoral linkages in Lao PDR, and Storytelling Festival. Rui loves photography and has travelling for 17 countries over 110 cities.
