Kate is a Senior Lecturer in Sport and Exercise Science and Middlesex University and HEA and University Teaching Fellow. She is a level 5 qualified soft tissue therapist, personal trainer and Performance and Lifestyle mentor. Kate recently completed a professional Doctorate in mobile learning games in teaching anatomy and is active in research in education and public health, specifically obesity and physical activity. Kate is the link tutor with our partner Tottenham Hotspur Foundation with whom she is involved in their public health initiatives alongside Lizi Bryant. Kate is also a Validation Chair and University rep, an active Teaching Fellow and external reviewer for University West of England.

Kate is module leader for SES1240, Fundamentals of Anatomy but also contributes to UG and PG teaching in physiology, soft tissue techniques and clinical exercise and health. She also contributes to the PGCertHE at Middlesex University as part of her Teaching Fellow role and is responsible for the LSI Student Learning Assistants.
Kate is an external reviewer for UWE and an external guest speaker for a PG University of Edinburgh programme. She actively participates in Teaching and Learning committees within Middlesex and presented at BETT 2014 on "The Integration of technology in a UK HE Sports Science degree; The good, the bad and the ugly".
Kate is an advanced Soft Tissue Practitioner who supervises students at events such as the London Marathon and regularly works with elite athletes from Rugby, Fencing, Athletics and Equestrianism.
