School of Health and Education

The School of Health and Education offers exciting and wide-ranging undergraduate and postgraduate courses in education and teaching, health, social work, psychology, and sports and exercise science.
We focus on supporting students and academics to achieve their full potential and make a difference in the world – whether they are developing knowledge; applying new skills in a practical way; or undertaking research that has a real, beneficial impact on society.

Our superb teaching and research facilities include specialist psychology laboratories and a new sports science provision, collaborating with Saracens rugby club at Allianz Park.

Preparation for life

Offering excellence in teaching and research, we provide a dynamic and stimulating academic environment for students, as well as helping them further their career prospects. Most of our courses carry professional status and we enjoy vibrant relationships with UK, European Union and international partners. This results in many opportunities for students to gain practical experience – for example in NHS Trusts, schools and local authorities. Our programmes are highly rated by the Quality Assurance Agency, Ofsted and partner NHS Trusts.
