Universities@Peterborough
Middlesex University is one of six higher education providers that make up Universities@Peterborough, a new consortium of higher education providers partnering with Opportunity Peterborough, to improve academic education provision and employability on behalf of Peterborough City Council.
As part of Peterborough's Skills Vision, developed by Opportunity Peterborough, the Universities@Peterborough consortium will work closely with local employers to deliver education provision that adresses local need. Up-skilling the workforce is seen as a key element in attracting inward investment, part of the city's economic development strategy.
As the UK’s leading provider of work-based professional and organisational development education, Middlesex University will have a key role in helping employers tailor programmes to suit organisational needs. Employers in Peterborough will be able to use our Beyond Training development solutions to design programmes that support employee development across a wide range of sectors.
