Work based learning research

Our research is conducted through the Work Based Learning Research Centre (WBLRC).  Members of the WBLRC engage in a wide range of research activities within the context of organisational and individual learning and change in higher education. For example, developing Work Based Learning as a field of study, intellectual capital, accreditation, assessment, innovations in partnering with organisations, and virtual leaning environments that support effective WBL. Our expertise contributes to Work Based Learning modules and programmes and doctoral-level research degrees.

WBLRC has contributed to the excellent reputation of Work Based Learning at Middlesex for building and sustaining productive partnership with a range of public, private, voluntary and community sector organisations, both nationally and internationally.
