Law debate series, 'Born Under One Law': Give me liberty

Shami Chakrabarti, Director of Liberty since September 2003, has became a national figure identified with her outspoken defence of human rights. Liberty claims to be ‘working to protect civil liberties and promote human rights for everyone’ - but how successful has it been in this endeavour? Ziauddin Sardar will lead the discussion with Shami, assessing Liberty’s successes and challenges and whether there are larger lessons for us all.
Speakers include: Shami Chakrabarti in conversation with Ziauddin Sardar, introduced by Maureen Spencer.
