Research Interests

Previously focused on cognitive methods and particularly the role of passive learning processes in attention. However, my position at the Dubai Campus provides opportunities in a range of social, cross cultural and applied settings. Through collaboration with various colleagues here I would like to develop a broader research profile.

Biography

Teaching and Administrative roles

Middlesex University Dubai currently runs the only International Psychology degree programme in the UAE. We offer Joint Hons (major/minor) options. The subject is of rapidly growing interest in the region and, although still very small, has been generally well received by students. My role here has been manifold to reflect the needs of this new campus. This includes: teaching of the Psychology modules at the Dubai campus; local coordinator for the Psychology programmes (currently major/minor options offered); development of the subject provision at this campus; and general promotion of the subject to prospective students in the region.
