The translation of political texts and the role of political ideology in translation, translation and political activism, translation and ideology, translation policy, translation and conflict, the Communist Manifesto in Greek, quality and ethics in translation, the reading context.

Biography
Current work
I am currently working on the translations of the Communist Manifesto into Greek focusing on the ways in which ideological struggles have affected translational choices and can be traceable in a translated text. I am the Programme Leader for BA Translation, BA Translation and TEFL and BA Translation and English Language. I teach translation theory and translation into Greek and I supervise BA and MA dissertations. I am the manager of TRANSCEN, Middlesex University's Translation Provider.
