Following five years of teaching science in a secondary school in Haringey, I retrained and taught for a further five years in pimary schools in both Haringey and Camden. I joined Middlesex University in 1994, where I teach science to trainees on BA and PGCE programmes. I am currently the BA Primary Education Programme Leader.
