Media Experience:

Television, Middle East Broadcasting Corporation, London Panellist and contributor to discussions on the Middle East and the relationship between the Arabs and the West (1997-2000).

Consultancy Activity:

  • Acted as a consultant and adviser to a number of small businesses in West Africa specifically in Sierra Leone and Nigeria (1982-85).
  • Acted as a consultant to a number of ethnic businesses in Glasgow (1983-87).
  • Member of Strathclyde University academic team, sponsored by the Scottish Development Agency, to provide advice to small businesses, 'The East Kilbride Project', Scotland (1985-87).
  • A comparison of Scottish and English Students to the teaching of Entrepreneurship (1997-99).
  • Together with CEEDR examined the Diverse needs of Ethnic Businesses in North London for Haringey Council (1998-2000).
  • Range of consultancies including use of marketing by SMEs. Adviser to ethnic Businesses for a number of Boroughs in London. Several consultancy research projects have been undertaken for Haringey Council (1991 to Present).
