Research Interests

Current research interests continue to explore issues withing Choreography and Performance, addressing the relationship between the choreographer and the audience.

Teaching Interests

Somatic practice and Release-based technique in HE underpinned by a study of Bartenieff Fundamentals and Laban Movement Analysis.

Curriculum/Subject Area

Dance technique (Release-based contemporary dance) and choreography.

Current Work

Includes the role of Module Leader at level 1 and level 3 and Programme Leader for BA Dance Performance, Academic Advisor (years 1-3), Independent Project tutor/mentor (year 3 students), International Students (exchange) advisor.: Preparation and writing of Module and Programme Handbooks, individual student tutorials, collating and inputting of final grades on MISIS, Module and Programme talks (information dissemination to each year group), organisation of International exchange students schedules and orientation (buddy system) in dance, attendance at Board of Studies, Staff and Departmental meetings and Assessment Boards.
