Kate Brown

I have research interests in community and primary health -including Health Needs Assessment, sexual health, informal care, user group involvement, domestic violence, postnatal care and back care. My educational research interests are practice-based learning and open learning.
My teaching responsibilities are divided between post registration and pre-registration nursing and some input to interprofessional continuing professional development provision. I have also contributed to a range of bespoke provision for NHS partners.
My main teaching interests are in the fields of primary care, community care and public health. I also teach a range of topics in Women's Health, Child Health and Rehabilitation. I also teach on the Mentorship Preparation programme.
