Research Interests
Suicides and self-harm in prison; the psychological effects of imprisonment; feminist theory and masculinities.
Currently undertaking an MPhil/PhD on 'The impact of prisoner self-harm on staff: Experiences, reactions and support needs', under the supervision of Dr Joanna Adler and Dr Karen Ciclitira. This research is funded by the Economic and Social Research Council (ESRC).
