Research Interests

Research Topic: Intelligent Proactive Handover and QoS Management using TBVH in Heterogeneous Networks
Research Project Outline: The aim of this research study was to develop intelligent solutions to improve QoS provisioning for multi-class traffic in 4G heterogeneous clients through improved predictability of vertical handovers. This involves development of process models of proposed mechanisms in OPNET Modeler.

Director of Studies: Dr Aboubaker Lasebae
Second Supervisors: Dr Glenford Mapp, Prof Richard Comley

Research Interests: 4G heterogeneous networking, QoS and application performance management in networks, Cognitive Radio, Information Systems Security

Teaching Interests

OPNET Modeler and OPNET IT Guru Training and Technical Support
