Information for employers

From April 2017, the way the government funds apprenticeships in England is changing. Some employers will be required to contribute to a new Apprenticeship Levy and there will be some changes to the funding for apprenticeship training for all employers.

The Apprenticeship Levy requires all employers operating in the UK with a wage bill over £3 million each year to make an investment in apprenticeships. It presents you with a unique opportunity to attract and retain the best talent by offering your employees a different route into high education while they work.

An apprentice can be a new employee into your organisation or an existing member of staff studying in the workplace at undergraduate or masters level.

At Middlesex University all our Apprenticeship Degrees are work-based and achieve significant impact on your organisations operations. We can help you build your workforce strategy, co-design the bespoke courses you need, and deliver quality training to your employees to make sure you get the very best value for your money.
