Work experience

In light of changing COVID-19 health and safety advice regarding placements, please contact the MDXWorks team in advance of accepting the position so they can review suitability of your placement.

Work experience and work placements are a fantastic way for our students to gain real-world experience that gives a great boost to their career prospects. They also offer employers the opportunity to engage positively with the community and tap into the fresh, positive ideas of students and new graduates.

Work experience and placement options available include:

  • A credit-bearing placement of up to 12 months as part of a four-year sandwich degree (students joining Middlesex from October 2012 will not pay tuition fees during the placement)
  • A credit-bearing internship of less than one year that is a module of a course
  • An accredited and/or compulsory work placement as part of a postgraduate course.
