Environmental management
CESMB will support you through every step of introducing an Environmental Management System, from developing your first policy, through to gaining accreditation. We are experienced in numerous formal and informal accreditation schemes including ISO14001, BS8555 and Greenmark. We also run our own accreditation scheme, EcoStep , which serves as an excellent introduction to formal systems such as ISO14001.
Legal compliance
Our team have significant experience working with businesses to manage the risks from environmental legislation. We will identify the steps required for your business to comply with legislative requirements, and also identify any opportunities presented in the process.
Training
We provide bespoke training solutions ranging from informal environmental awareness training to formal training for key personnel. We also offer the Certificate in Recycling for Sustainability, a CIWM accredited work based learning programme for managers and supervisors responsible for waste management.
Research
CESMB can provide tailored research solutions, as well as provide a route into the wide range of expertise available from Middlesex University’s researchers and specialist groups.
About CESMB
Established in 1993, CESMB has a strong background providing support to business on environmental and sustainability issues. As well as one-to-one work with individual businesses, we have a track record delivering funded projects (i.e.European Union projects) for the benefit of business. We also maintain strong links with business networks, including being a funding member and chair of The Resource Forum, which brings together the commercial, public and not-for-profit sectors to develop awareness and drive action.
