This three-day course is designed for anyone with a desire to learn more about creating motion graphics using Motion 5.

You will explore new intelligent templates that enable quick and flexible creation of high-quality effects, titles, transitions, and generators. What will you study on Apple: Motion 5 - An Introduction?

This course will cover the following areas:

  • Creating smart motion templates
  • Publishing smart motion templates to Final Cut Pro X
  • Creating parameter rigs to adjust parameters with a single control
  • Understanding behaviour-based animation
  • Using keyframes to create animation
  • Creating content with generators, shapes and paint strokes
  • Stabilising and tracking media
  • Animating cameras and using advanced 3D features.

Upon completion of the course, you will have a good understanding of motion graphics fundamentals, compositing, animation and the world of 3D.

To enrol on this course, you must have knowledge of Mac OS X and basic computer navigation. Basic knowledge of editing terminology is also highly recommended.
