Overview

Develop the skills to work more effectively as a leader or manager within a public or private organisation in this short course, available either  via distance learning or on campus.

We understand the needs and challenges for professionals working within a wide range of public sector and private organisations. That's why we developed this course to benefit any practitioner who is looking to move into a leadership or management role, including those who wish to enhance their current managerial position.

Taught by experienced practitioners  via distance learning to fit around your schedule, this course will challenge you to develop your own leadership role, with opportunities to critically evaluate your managerial style and apply knowledge within your workplace. Through a series of lectures and workshops you will examine the theoretical underpinnings of leadership with particular focus on models, influence, co-production and participation within service contexts.

Armed with these valuable insights and contemporary skills you will enhance your existing practice and future career prospects.
