Designed around the 'Standard to support learning and assessment in practice' as outlined by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC) in 2008, this course will equip you with the advanced knowledge and specialised skills to provide effective leadership, teaching, support and assessment to all those involved in NMC education.
Taught by experienced practitioners and lecturers at our state-of-the-art London campus, this course will challenge you to critically evaluate innovative and creative programmes of learning in practice. Through a series of lectures and practice-based activities you will examine the effectiveness of assessment strategies utilised by NMC mentors with opportunities to gain experience in interviewing and the quality review processes.
Armed with these valuable insights and contemporary skills you will enhance your mentoring practice and career prospects for the future while also gaining 30 credits at Level 7 to put towards an MSc Nursing Studies if you choose to pursue further study.
