Undergraduate - Year 1 | You will need one of the following:
Students with just the Nivel Medio (bachillerato degree) can be considered for the International Foundation Programme at Middlesex University – if you complete this successfully, you will automatically progress onto an undergraduate course. |
Undergraduate - Year 2 and 3 | You may be considered for advanced entry to undergraduate courses if you have completed a period of study at university. Please contact the Americas & Caribbean Regional Team for more details. |
Postgraduate | For most postgraduate courses we require a good Licenciatura, of at least four years, from a recognised institution in a subject relevant to your proposed postgraduate study. We generally expect a minimum grade of 80 out of 100 or 3.2 out of 4.0 GPA. |
You must also satisfy our standard English language requirements.
If you're a talented student, you may be eligible for either our Regional or International Merit Award, which rewards students with up to £2,000 towards course fees for all taught undergraduate and postgraduate courses.
We also have a limited number of £5,000 Academic Excellence Scholarship Awards available to North and South American students who have demonstrated high levels of academic excellence in their previous studies.

Students are only eligible to receive one scholarship award. The awards are for full undergraduate or postgraduate degree courses. Students must have applied to Middlesex and received an offer before they can apply for any of these scholarship awards.

Middlesex has an agreement with the Ministry of Higher Education, Science and Technology (MESCyT) to provide scholarships to students from the Dominican Republic at Postgraduate level. You can apply directly on the MESCyT website through their application portal.

You can also apply for the British Government's Chevening Scholarships, The Commonwealth Scholarship and a variety of private agencies and charities for scholarships, bursaries and grants to study in the UK. Successful applicants will receive an Entry Clearance vignette in their passport and will be able to collect their Biometric Residence permit in the UK.
