      Entry requirements

      International Foundation Programme

      Students from Kuwait normally follow a four-year undergraduate course at Middlesex University, with the first year on the International Foundation Programme (IFP). Students who successfully complete the one-year International Foundation at Middlesex will automatically progress onto a Middlesex degree.

      For entry onto our International Foundation Programme you will need to have graduated from the Shahadat-al-thanawia-al-a'ama (General Secondary School Certificate) with good grades and have a minimum of IELTS of 5.5, or equivalent recognised English language test. We welcome students from both the science and the social studies streams.

      Undergraduate - Year 1

      Applicants should have a Diploma/Certificate from PAEET College.

      Students currently studying at the University of Kuwait may apply to transfer to one of our degree courses in the UK. Applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis, and acceptance granted to students with good results. We will consider degrees in the following subject areas:

      • Administrative Science
      • Allied Health (120 credit Bachelor in Radiological Sciences, 121 all others)
      • Arts (126 credit Bachelor)
      • Dentistry
      • Education (126 credit Bachelor)
      • Engineering (144 credit Bachelor, five years)
      • Graduate Studies
      • Law
      • Medicine (122 credit Bachelor, seven years)
      • Medical Sciences
      • Pharmacy
      • Sciences (126 credit Bachelor)
      • Sharia and Islamic Law
      • Social Sciences

      Postgraduate

      Applicants are required to have a bachelor degree (4 years) from a recognized university with GPA 2.4/4.

      Our MBA courses require at least two years of post-graduation work experience at management level, and in some cases a GMAT score of over 550 will also be required.

      You must also meet our standard English Language Requirements. If you don't meet these, we offer a Pre-sessional English course.

      You can also apply for the British Government's Chevening Scholarships, and a variety of private agencies and charities for scholarships, bursaries and grants to study in the UK. For more information visit the British Council website or the UK Council for International Student Affairs website

    • Visa information

      The following requirements must be met in order for your visa application to be successful:

      UKVI Requirements

      • Submit an online application through the UKVI website. You will need to submit your valid CAS, payment of the visa fee and immigration health surcharge
      • Upload the relevant supporting documents (passport, academic documents, evidence of meeting or being exempt from English language requirements, evidence of meeting financial requirements, ATAS certificate if required, TB test certificate if required)
      • Biometric data collected at the visa application centre
      • You must be able to provide evidence that you can meet the finance requirements if asked to do so, but you do not need to provide this evidence at the time of application.

      Successful applicants will receive an Entry Clearance vignette in their passport and will be able to collect their Biometric Residence permit in the UK.
