  • Important information

    • Academic and English language requirements

      Undergraduate entry requirements

Students with a Mathayom 6 are required to undertake a one-year foundation course before progressing onto an undergraduate course. You can apply to our International Foundation Programme, successful completion of which guarantees a student admission onto a degree course. We also recognises a range of foundation programmes awarded by other bodies, including the Canadian International Matriculation Programme (CIMP) and the South Australian Matriculation (SAM).

We will consider students with A Levels or the International Baccalaureate for entry to the first year of undergraduate course.

Students must also meet our standard English language requirements. If you don't meet our English language requirements you may be able to undertake a pre-sessional English course before you begin your studies.

      Postgraduate entry requirements

We normally require a good first bachelors degree from a recognised university. Most courses do not require work experience, with the exception of the Masters in Business Administration (MBA), which requires at least two years' work experience at professional/management level. CGPAs of 2.5 and above may also be considered by the University.

Students must also meet our standard English language requirements. If you don't meet our English language requirements you may be able to undertake a pre-sessional English course before you begin your studies.

Pre-sessional English and ongoing English language support

For students who would like to study at Middlesex, but don't meet our English language requirements we offer a range of pre-sessional English courses. By the end of the course you will have the academic English and confidence to study on a Middlesex degree. And, you won't need to take any further English language tests, such as IELTS.

We also provide English language support throughout your degree programme. Our Learner Development Unit runs free workshops and one-to-one tutorials in academic writing, English language, and communication so you can continue to improve your English skills while you study with us.
