Paying your fees
Tuition fees must be paid at enrolment. All debit and credit cards, except American Express and Diners Card are accepted. Cash and cheques (made payable to Middlesex University) can be paid into Campus Finance Offices. To make a payment, contact:
Receivables Team, Financial Services, Middlesex University, The Burroughs, Hendon, London, NW4 4BT
Tel: +44 (0)20 8411 6400 (option 1)
International students are also required to pay a deposit on application. Please contact your nearest regional office for questions on paying your deposit.
Bank transfer
The University in partnership with Travelex Payments Ltd have created a facility for international students to pay fees by bank transfer. This facility allows you to obtain a quote in your local currency which you then take to your bank to send payment.
If you are an applicant and have received a unconditional offer from the University and wish to pay your fees you can log in to the Travelex payment system.
Reduced fee for the children of Gurkhas
Middlesex University believes that, like the children of all British soldiers, the children of Gurkhas have a right to a British education, and is demonstrating its support for the Gurkhas by regarding their children as UK students instead of as international students. Gurkhas Bursary application form.
Student Loans for USA students - 2010/11 changes
The processes around applying for loans have changed for US students. Please read this holding notice carefully - we will update this as soon as there are any further developments.
Withdrawal Policy
If you decide to withdraw from a course you must notify your campus student office in writing. If you decide to withdraw within the first four weeks of the start of the academic year you will not be charged. However, if you withdraw or interrupt after learning week 4 you will be charged as follows:
- If you withdraw between learning week 5 and learning week 13, you will be required to pay 50% of the annual tuition fee
- If you withdraw after learning week 13 you will be required to pay 100% of the annual tuition fee
See our academic calendar.
Exceptions
International students may be required to pay a non-refundable deposit (NRD) to secure a place; these deposits will only be refunded in the event that your visa application is refused. Where the value of a NRD exceeds the value of charges incurred under the above withdrawal policy then the NRD will be the amount charged.
