Middlesex University is now teaching the sons and daughters of Alumni who studied with us in the 1960s and 1970s and is one of the top UK destinations for Cypriot students. Middlesex enjoys very strong links with Cyprus and welcomes many students from the Republic every year. Students holding Associate Degrees from recognised Cypriot institutions of tertiary education are welcome to apply for pre-accredited entry to Middlesex.

One of the reasons students from Cyprus choose Middlesex is that they benefit from the University's links with the local Cypriot community based in north London.

Middlesex University runs regular sessions for Work Based Learning students in Cyprus, including those registered on the Masters and Doctorate in Professional Studies programmes.

Middlesex/Cypriot community

Due to our long established relationship with students from Cyprus, we have a strong and growing Cypriot student community.

Scholars from Cyprus have been coming to Middlesex for more than a generation and today many are the children of past graduates.

There are over 100 Cypriot students at Middlesex and they can be found in every School of the University. Current students, alumni and new recruits are encouraged to get together each year at the Work Based Learning Graduation Ceremony held in Nicosia. Please contact the Regional Office in Nicosia for details.
