Entry requirements
Below are entry requirements specific to Japanese applicants, you should also see our standard entry requirements.
Undergraduate applicants
High School graduates will generally be considered for the four-year programme, spending the first year on the International Foundation Programme followed by a 3-year undergraduate degree programme.
University students are welcome to apply for our International Year Abroad Programme - a 3-month intensive programme for Japanese students focusing on all aspects of English language proficiency followed by 4-months of degree level study with British students.
Postgraduate applicants
A good first Bachelor degree from a recognised university is usually required. Mature students with Junior College Diploma and 3 years relevant work experience may be considered for some masters programmes.
