Students currently registered/enrolled on a PhD programme at other institutions can apply to study at Middlesex University as a visiting research student.
You can apply to visit Middlesex University for between 1 month and 12 months. During this period, you will be undertaking research which is complementary to your own PhD project at your home university.
Visiting students are advised to check that the relevant school/department has academic expertise in the field of your research. Information on individual schools and staff members is available on our websiteVisiting Research Students will not receive a certificate and are not entitled for any qualification from Middlesex University.
Application process and how to apply
Visiting students are advised to find their potential supervisor/academic host before they apply and also check that they are willing to supervise the research project. If this is not the case, you may still apply and the PhD coordination team may try to find somebody within the selected school/department.

Visiting period between 6 months and 12 months: £1000 fixed fee
