Teacher training at Middlesex University in London includes both one-year PGCE courses as well as Employment Based Initital Teacher Training (GTP). In 2010, the PGCE Secondary course at Middlesex was awarded (by Ofsted) a Grade 1 in training, and overall was rated Good with Outstanding Features, an outstanding result for a diverse provider of teacher training.
We have a 99% employability rate for our PGCE graduates (according to Directgov Unistats) and many of our graduates go on to work in their first job at the same school where they undertake course placements.
