Postgraduate Fees and Funding

Course fees vary and can be found on the individual postgraduate course pages of our website.

While undergraduates are entitled to apply for means-tested grants and student loans, the funding options for postgraduates are both fewer and more simple. Most students will fund their postgraduate study with personal savings and/or a Professional and Career Development Loan

We are happy to help you identify relevant postgraduate funding opportunities both externally and within the University's growing suite of scholarships, grants and bursaries.

Paying your fees

International (non-EU) students are required to pay a non refundable deposit on application.

All debit and credit cards, except American Express and Diners Card are accepted. Cash and cheques (made payable to Middlesex University) can be paid into campus cash offices. To make a payment, contact:

Receivables team, Financial Services, Middlesex University, The Burroughs, Hendon, London, NW4 4BT

Tel: +44 (0)20 8411 6400 (choose option 1)

Withdrawal Policy

If you decide to withdraw from a course you must notify your campus student office in writing.  If you decide to withdraw within the first four weeks of the start of the academic year you will not be charged. However, if you withdraw or interrupt after learning week 4 you will be charged as follows:

  • If you withdraw between learning week 5 and learning week 13, you will be required to pay 50% of the annual tuition fee
  • If you withdraw after learning week 13 you will be required to pay 100% of the annual tuition fee

See our academic calendar.

Exceptions

International students may be required to pay a non-refundable deposit (NRD) to secure a place; these deposits will only be refunded in the event that your visa application is refused.  Where the value of a NRD exceeds the value of charges incurred under the above withdrawal policy then the NRD will be the amount charged.

For further information please contact Financial Services on +44 (0) 20 8411 6400 (select option 3) or email us at stufin_credcon@mdx.ac.uk

Fee arrangement for Gurkhas and their children (Gurkha Bursary)

Middlesex University believes that, like the children of all British soldiers, the children of Gurkhas have a right to a British education and is demonstrating its support for the Gurkhas by regarding their children as UK students instead of as international students.
