Academic Excellence Scholarships – worth 50% of the Masters fee

This year we are offering 100 scholarships worth 50% of the Masters fee for the most talented UK/EU students. We are looking for students who can demonstrate excellence academically and/or professionally and the potential to succeed.

The scholarship is also available to current Middlesex international students at the London campus and international graduates who have graduated from Middlesex London campus within the last three years.

The scholarship will be awarded as a 50% reduction of the postgraduate tuition fee and applied on enrolment.

How to apply

All applicants who have achieved or are expected to achieve a 2.1 or 1st class honours in their undergraduate degree are eligible to apply.

International Merit Award

Open to all international students - worth up to £2000

Middlesex University is renowned for offering unrivalled support to International students and gives out scholarships and merit awards to International students totalling around £1,000,000 each year.

Potential postgraduate international students are eligible to apply for an International Merit Award of up to £2000 towards their fees. There is no separate application for this award; international students should apply for their chosen course through the normal application process. Awards will be given on a case-by-case basis which will be dependent on your course and application. Successful candidates will be notified at the point of offer for a programme of study and the award amount will be deducted from their tuition fees.

NB: Research students are not eligible for the International Merit Award. 

Alumni Bursary

Up to 20% reduction in postgraduate course fees for Middlesex graduates

This year we are offering a reduction of up to 20% in postgraduate  tuition fees for Middlesex Alumni. There’s no need to apply for this bursary, the reduction will be automatically taken from your course fees when you enrol.

The Alumni Bursary of 20% is available to UK/EU students who completed their first degree at Middlesex and have an offer for a further taught Masters programme here. The bursary applies to self-financing students and students not eligible for funding from Student Finance England.

International (i.e. outside of the EU) alumni, not already receiving an International Merit Award or regional award, may be eligible to receive a 10% reduction in tuition fees when progressing to postgraduate study at Middlesex. Find out more from your nearest regional office.

NB: Students already holding another Middlesex Scholarship (e.g. Academic Excellence Scholarship) are not entitled to the Alumni bursary.

David Tresman Caminer Postgraduate Scholarship in Business Computing (supported by The LEO Foundation and AIT Trust)

This generous £5,000 postgraduate scholarship is available to one UK postgraduate student each year, who has demonstrated exceptional academic potential. Applications are welcome from students who have fulfilled the admission criteria and been offered a place to study for a postgraduate degree based in the School of Science and Technology.

MSc Health Psychology Scholarships

A £3,000 scholarship, funded by friends and alumni of Middlesex, is available to students applying for entry to MSc Health Psychology as a full-time student for September 2013. The scholarship will be awarded to an applicant who demonstrates exemplary academic and/or professional achievement or potential. Applications are welcome from students who have been offered (conditional or unconditional) and accepted a place on the MSc Health Psychology programme. Students who receive a scholarship from another organisation cannot apply. The scholarship is in the form of a discount in tuition fees (paid in the first year of study).

Luck Hille Foundation Postgraduate Photography Award

This £5,000 award is available to an undergraduate photography student who has achieved a 2:1 or above and wishes to study on the MA Photography programme at Middlesex University. Applications are made by nomination and are welcome from students who have been offered (conditional or unconditional) and accepted a place on the MA Photography programme. To apply, you will need your tutor, teacher or mentor at Middlesex to nominate you. 

Luck Hille Foundation Photography Progression Award

This award is available to two Middlesex undergraduate photography students who have achieved a 2:1 or above and wish to progress onto the MA Photography programme at Middlesex University. To apply, you will need your tutor, teacher or mentor at Middlesex to nominate you.

The award will be made annually to two students up to the value of £2,000 each.

Work Based Learning Scholarship

The Scholarship for a PhD in the area of Work Based Learning 

This scholarship is for £2,500 per year for four years to study for a part time PhD in the broad area of Work Based Learning. It is open to those who are working in the voluntary and community sector (including organisations with registered charitable status).

Unfortunately it is not possible to hold this award in conjunction with any other Middlesex scholarship or award.

If your application to the PhD is accepted, you will automatically be considered for the scholarship. The deadline for applications is 31 August 2013
