Networking

This is a business networking skills workshop designed to build confidence, overcome fears and concerns and provide real-world sales skills appropriate to a professional services environment. The workshop training for individuals looking to develop their networking skills, confidence and strategy for networking to win business. It is appropriate for all levels of experience and can be tailored to your requirements.

Course content

This workshop covers a wide range of highly relevant topics:

  • Introduction to business development
  • Introduction to networking
  • The Networking Pipeline
  • The Networking Process

Learning outcomes

By the end of the session delegates will:

  • Define benefits of networking, understand best practice in terms of approach and follow up to best achieve business outcomes
  • Review existing networking opportunities and forums available and appropriate to your business and markets

Progression routes

This workshop is part of the Management Series. Other workshops include:

  • Writing a sales strategy

Completion of four of the workshops in the series and a Work Based Learning Report will provide an opportunity to receive a Middlesex University Certificate in Personal and Professional Development NQF Level 4, 5, 6 or 7.
