    Marketing - Short course

    This workshop will help delegates gain an awareness of place and need of marketing, and discuss the varied skills and awareness of market analysis and consumer buying behaviour.

    Course content

    • The marketing function and its key role
    • Customer buying behaviour
    • Marketing routes
    • Market information and research
    • Promotion and advertising
    • Market risk
    • Market planning

    By the end of the session delegates will:

    • Understand the key components of marketing, including product and pricing, branding and customer profiling
    • Be able to explain the value of marketing to the sales process and how it can inform  business and sales strategy  
    • Be equipped with knowledge and skills to apply a marketing plan

    Progression routes

    This workshop is part of the Management Series. Other workshops include:
