Applying

To reserve a place on one of our courses, please complete the application form, making sure that you select the appropriate course. If you are not sure which course you need, please see our brochure or check our entry requirements.

With the application form, please send your IELTS or TOEFL certificate, or other proof of your English level. If you have not taken an English test you can contact the British Council in your own country about taking IELTS, or contact us at english@mdx.ac.uk.

Please also send a copy of your offer letter from Middlesex University for your degree course.

What happens next

Once we have received your application form we will assess it in order to make sure that your level is suitable for your chosen course. We will then send you a letter confirming acceptance with a receipt for the deposit(s) paid and further instructions and information.

Refunds of deposits and fees

All deposits are non-refundable unless the student visa is not obtained. Refunds of deposits will only be made in the student's home country, not in the UK.

Leaving a pre-sessional course once it has started

  • If a student withdraws in the first week, he or she will receive a refund of 50% of the course fees once the deposit has been taken out.
  • If a student withdraws after the first week, no refund can be made.
