Checking which fee applies to you

The fees payable depend on whether you are classified as an international or UK/European Union fee payer.

UK/European Union students
To qualify as an EU (including UK) fee payer you must meet the following criteria:

  • be a national (or child of a national) of a country within the European Economic Area who has been resident in an EU country for a full three years prior to starting the course or
  • have 'settled status' as a UK resident i.e. permanent leave to reside in this country and three years residence and
  • your residency during these three years must not at any point have been for the purpose of receiving full time education. Additionally there should be no restriction on your stay.

Both UK/EU and International applicants pay the same rates for non-credit rated courses which are prefixed by the code SUM.

International students
Any applicant not meeting the above conditions will be eligible to pay international fees.

Applicants who apply with payment, before 23 May 2012 are eligible for a discounted rate.
