Payment of Fees

When submitting your application remember to include either a deposit or full payment of fees. The application form gives details of the deposit amount payable.

Early Payment Discount

For applications received by 23 May 2012 there is a discount of £30 for UK/EU students and £60 for international students. To qualify for the discount your application must be made with at least a deposit payment. Unfortunately Summer Package applicants are not eligible for the early payment discount.

How to Pay

Credit and debit card
You can include your card details on the application form; call and give your card details over the phone; or pay in person at a cash office at our campuses.

Cheques, postal orders and banker’s drafts
Cheques, postal orders or bank drafts should be made payable to Middlesex University in sterling. Please ensure that your name appears on the back. If you are a current or previous Middlesex student (including Summer School students) you should also include your student number.

Paying at a Middlesex University campus
If you choose to pay your deposit or full fees at one of our campus finance offices, you must send a copy of the receipt with your application form to the Summer School office. It is advisable to retain the original receipt for your records.

At a regional office
The above procedures are for students applying directly to the Summer School. International students may find it more convenient to apply through one of our regional offices or partner institutions.

Please note the Summer School Office cannot process cash payments.

Offer letters and confirmation of your place

Most applicants are made offers on the basis of their application forms. However, the University may request further information in relation to an application. The decision of the University on the outcome of an application is final. In the majority of cases once we receive your application form and deposit, a provisional offer letter will be sent to you. If places are unavailable, we will contact you to discuss possible alternatives or to arrange a refund.

Once full payment has been received you will receive another, unconditional offer letter confirming a place on your course(s) - and where relevant, in halls of residence.

Students requiring a visa

Students requiring visas usually need to produce an unconditional offer letter. As these are only issued on receipt of full payment (provided that places are available and specific course prerequisites are met), we recommend that you apply early with full payment, as the process can take several months. In the event that you are unsuccessful in obtaining a visa and can provide evidence of this, the Summer School will refund your fees, minus an administrative charge of £100.
