Course overview:
The module explores some of the social and emotional influences on the child and how these affect their learning and educational experiences. You are also asked to reflect on, and evaluate your own emotions and social skills, and explore the theories and strategies implemented by school counsellors and others in attempting to meet children’s social and emotional needs.

Appropriate for people with some interest or understanding of basic counselling (Middlesex students must be EDU/ECH students who have completed level 1 and 2 modules)
