    About the course

    This course will give you an up-to-date understanding of the central challenges facing the international community and local populations in the Third World. Through lectures and seminars, you'll explore the nature and origins of poverty and inequality, as well as the impact of global challenges such as climate and water depletion. 

    There will be critical discussion of some of the key solutions presented by a range of mainstream and alternative development bodies.
