In this foundation-level course, we'll cover an overview of record companies, copyright collection societies and other music and arts organisation. We'll also evaluate the roles of administrators, promoters, agents and managers in the music industry.
About the course
In this module, we'll examine case studies in classical, popular and world music to understand how different styles are constructed.
You'll also have the opportunity to compose, perform and practise your administrative techniques alongside students of Music Access/SUM0043 and Popular Music/ SUM0071 courses.

Time and dates
The course will take place over four weeks from Thursday 30 June to Friday 22 July 2016. Sessions will be held from 2:00pm to 7:00pm on Thursdays and 12:00pm to 5:00pm on Fridays.
