    Summer School Subject-based Package

    Work hard, play hard

With our subject-based package you'll find the perfect blend of study and socialising, in the greatest city on Earth. OK, so we're a little bit biased! But you can be sure to enjoy a memorable Summer School experience at Middlesex University.

    Best of both worlds

"Not only did I get the chance to broaden my horizons and experience British culture, the trips we went on have been unforgettable. I have had the best summer of my life and I do not want to leave." Lisa Weissenger, Vienna University of Economics and Business, Austria

This package allows you to combine learning (including earning credits) with an exciting social and cultural programme, all included in the same price. When you choose between our three- and five-week programmes, you will benefit from:

    • Fully-integrated student study alongside students from Middlesex University, Europe and around the world
    • Tuition for either 15 or 30 Middlesex University credits with a choice of any of the accredited courses that run from 30 June to 29 July 2016. Classes are structured on either a lecture, seminar or workshop basis
    • Official Middlesex University transcript for credited courses

In addition, you will receive the following, as part of your fee:

    • Free airport pick up to ensure your arrival on campus is as smooth as possible. This is offered from London Heathrow Airport, 7am to 4pm on 28 June, providing a 'meet and greet' by Summer School staff and transfers from the airport to our north London campus throughout the day
    • Accommodation near campus included in the cost. All rooms are private and halls of residence feature communal kitchens, social areas and free Internet access
    • Welcome reception on your first evening, with buffet and live music
    • Orientation programme including excursions and a number of exciting events. A panoramic tour of central London, a 'flight' on the London Eye and a trip to historic Oxford are all offered during your first few days. These will allow you to meet your fellow students and familiarise yourself with the city, the local area and the campus before teaching starts
    • Social and cultural events help you to explore London and other parts of the UK, and experience British culture. A number of trips are offered each week. We also hold fun events on campus, so you can socialise with other students
    • Prepaid Oyster travel card with starter credit for use on London trains and buses, giving up to 50% discount on travel on the underground and buses throughout Greater London
    • Optional trips to West End musicals including the Phantom of the Opera and Wicked
    • Dedicated staff on hand 24 hours a day – offering both practical help and information on how to make the most of your study experience

Many of our students also use their stay in London as an opportunity to plan their own trips around the UK and other European countries, taking advantage of London's easy links to popular destinations.

It is often possible to transfer credits earned at Middlesex to a programme at another university within the UK and in many other countries. Find out more about credits and assessment
