    Summer School Subject-Based Courses

    Find your path

We've set up our courses to provide maximum flexibility and variety, so that you can achieve your individual goals for the summer. You have the choice of taking either one 30 credit or two 15 credit courses, provided teaching timetables don't clash. You may also choose to take a short non-credit course as part of your package.

"I've made so many friends from different countries and I've learnt just as much in these six weeks as I would have done in a whole semester at home. My classes really added to my Major." Ingefleur Spreij, University of Twente, The Netherlands

Our packages are designed to allow you sufficient time to spend on independent study, which is a key feature of the UK higher education system. So, apart from the time you spend in classes, you should also spend an appropriate amount of time out of class preparing, working on assignments and studying for exams where necessary.

Many students choose to supplement their studies with a residential summer package including accommodation, a range of social and cultural activities and other benefits. You can select this option at the point of application.

    Three-week package

Students opting for the three-week package may take any of the courses listed below. These are all timetabled to run from the 30 June - 18 July. We've selected them because they're not assessed by exam, giving you the option to leave before the exam period. Courses are assessed through coursework, written assignments and/or essays.
