If you think you are on track for excellent grades, then why not apply for our academic excellence scholarship, sponsored by Santander?
Each year several new first year UK/EU undergraduate students will be awarded £5,000 each. We invite you to apply for this award based on your predicted or actual grades, so if you are on track for spectacular grades, then why not take advantage of this award.
Students are offered awards in each of our 4 academic schools. Applicants should have achieved or be predicted to get the following UCAS tariff points from A2 level or equivalent level 3 qualifications including BTEC:
- Applicants for courses in the School of Arts and Education and School of Health and Social Sciences: 320+ UCAS tariff points
- Applicants for courses in the Business School and School of Engineering and Information Sciences: 280+ UCAS tariff points
You will need your tutor, teacher or mentor to also nominate you for this award to ensure you are on track.
All decisions are made by our Scholarships Committee after the examination results come out in August, where all actual grades will be evaluated. The award will be paid in two installments, directly to the University fees office to cover part of the cost of your tuition. If you are successful you will be notified of your award - best of luck.
