The Social Policy Research Centre at Middlesex University is holding a one day conference: BME children in London schools: The role of community organisations.
This conference will launch the final report: BME children in London: educational needs and the role of community organisations. An evaluation of the education services of Day-Mer, Turkish and Kurdish Community Centre.
There will also be several speakers talking about a range of topics including: young BME boys in secondary schools, school and education policy 'reform' and their impact on black and minority ethnic children and communities.
